Dealing with Time signatures ?

Hi,
I've been working on incorporating a couple of tracks into my dj set that change time signatures at various points.
A simple example is one bar of 2/4 stuck in the middle of a 4/4 track.
I can obviously bring the 1st beat in on the 3rd beat of the previous track
and then effectively the same again to get me back on the 1st beat in time with the metronome.
But, is there any way to force the overall clock to put in the 2/4 time signature at that point ?
