I'm too lazy to dig through the manual and was curious to see if others could help me out w this quesiton. It doesn't really matter whether with the UC-33 or not, but my question is, how would you go about setting a knob on a controller to, for instance, launch a clip in a track by panning above 64....and/or stop a clip by panning below 64??? I'd really appreciate any and all help on this one fellas...

Regards...

set the loop to gate mode, enter the midi assignment mode, select the loop, and then turn the knob.

i used to trigger clips with a doepfer pocket dial this way, and it worked surprisingly well! i had the clips set to relative, so a positive turn launched em, and a negative one stopped em. now i use buttons, and i'm not sure it's particularly better... :)
