I'd love to find out how I can help emulate mackie mode for generic controllers via a software layer. Does anyone have any info on what the output of the controllers are?

I do know one thing, and that is that there is an un-official program for the bcr-2000 that translates it into mackie mode - afaik it's open source, so it can easily be deconstructed ;)

Hello!!!?

Please share the love, I have a BCR-2000 sitting upstairs right now, if I could get it to work in Mackie mode that would be the bomb!!

I'm not sure about the BCR2000, but on the BCF2000 all you do is Hold down the second button onder the rotory knobs then power the unit on so that it boots in emulation mode. The second button reads NC_C (each button has a different emulation mode...button 1 is back to normal) (do not use button 5-8, you will crash Live as well as Rewire and anything using Rewire.

once you're in NC_C mode it will say EG (edit global) just hit exit so it goes back to saying NC_C......start LIVE and you are golden.

NC_C mode seems to stop controlling Reason, I think you'll have to switch back and forth

Haven't seen Mackie Mode for the BCR. If you download the 1.07 driver file for the BCF, there is a PDF file included that has pictures of the Mackie templates for Cubase, Logic Sonar and baby hui emulations for the BCF. I've been using the Sonar emulation with Live 5 without any problems so far.
