It's a railway simulation game controller, but I like the stupid look.
it comes with an SDK so it can support other 'games'.
I forget, is Live a game.. or not?

at least the laptop performances will get that little 'extra' when you have to push and pull, just to get a mix right ...

XKeys people are the great. I own an XKeys for graphic design. I can assign every combinations to keys, change caps color, stick labels on caps and so on. You can assign mouse clicks to keys, too.
Doing lot of pages in InDesign everyday, my work is really improved with this stuff.
I used it with live two times.

Hmmm... might just need that X-keys 128 key keyboard... especially with Macro Works...

Spaturno - are you using it with a Mac? And can it launch 128 different scenes/clips?

This is the sort of controller to impress the chicks with in my swallow blue, bri-nylon, batwing lapeled suit with golden kipper tie. I blow dry my hair like Ron Burgendy in Anchorman. Can't wait to get my guns working those levers. Yowsa!

Unfortunately, Live won't accept key commands to clips for more than 52 key presses (a-z and A-Z). I have emailed them because I have a producer panel (
www.neanda.com) and its now sitting idle after moving to live from cubase. Cubase (and other serious sequencers) allow you to map key commands to functions but ableton haven't implemented them yet!
I would suggest emailing tech support and asking them to do so. My panel has 4 layers of 128 keys, so thats' enough to never touch my keyboard again during a set!!!
