Live 5 Sound Engine - Better, Worse or the same?

Hello ppl. I have done an extensive search here for the answer to my question, but have not found it.
I am considering the update from Live 4 to Live 5 and would like to know if they have improved the sound engine in Live 5.
I personally felt that the sound engine in Live 4 was a little metallic or brittle. Just my opinion mind you.
So for those who also felt the Live 4 was a little metallic sounding and have upgraded to Live 5, has the sound engine improved?
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried listening to the v5 demo? What did you think?

i know many folk felt that Live's audio engine disadvantage to other DAWs was its inability to output 32bit audio files.
FYI, now it can.

It is better, it sounds better, and the 32bit helps a lot.

The Complex algo for playing loops is much, much better than all the other ones. I don't use anything else any more, apart for fx. Okay, it also uses quite some cpu, but who cares - freeze will free it again.

Definately sounds better to these ears.
I still have Versions 3 & 4 on my system also.
Version 5 has better frequency definition and an over crispness too it I like alot .
So I'd say it's a definate improvement.
The rendering sounds better to these ears also for what it's worth.

On my machine a single loop in complex uses 10% cpu..so its only good on fast machines.
The old beat mode sounds more metallic than before, at least it is less LP filtered.
32 bit sounds like a possible improovement, havent checked that yet
