PDC on wrecks sync for ext gear

Hi there, i have a korg es-1 synced out through my motu 828mkii. In Live 4, i set the midi delay to -55 and it was rock solid. In Live5 if PDC is off, having the sync set to around -38 is sufficient, however, if PDC is on I cannot get it to stay syncronized for longer than a few minutes.

Shouldn't PDC compensate for midi delay as well? I have to set the midi delay to around -240ms and that still drifts all the time. Do I just have to get used to doing my Live shows with PDC off (or use Live 4 again??), and only use PDC for studio use where I don't need lengthy sync times?

This happens in the retail and the .2b3 as well.

Thanks,
Tim

BTW Switching from pattern to song mode in the midi options for b3 have no effect on this problem...

Sorry no answer at the moment. I'm interested in this too, how PDC affects external devices. If pdc works properly, it shouldn't have any effect on midi clock delays. Otherwise, that could really screw things up.

I'm currently double checking my sync w/5. I'll try to get back to in a few days when I have more time to test my xbase.
