Using Ibook 500 mghz 512 mg ram

by Can't load song in 2.01
I made two tunes can't even open them..i'm getting a memory error my avg startup time is 45-55 sec for 2.01, 1.52 I never had an issue.
Any help?

Do you have enough memory allocated to Live?
You need to do this in OS 9.
In case you don't know how to - do the following.
Before launching LIVE - just highlite the app by clicking it once.
While it is still highlited hit the apple key and the letter i.
When the box comes up select "memory" from the "show" menu.
Add more memory to the "Prefered" field.
If you have 512 megs I would say you could easily make this number
300,000
Also make sure virtual memory is off - its a control panel called "memory"
If this doesnt work.
Start deleting preferences.

It just has "general information", i'll look at my computer documentaition to see how to allocate more memory to a file.
