Hey! has anyone here tried out or even heard about this:
http://www.transparentcorp.com/products/bss/index.php
Does it work?
WTF is "Brainwave Entrainment"?
Is it legal?!
Is it moral?
Does it add noise or alter the sound quality of your music?
I'd love to hear back from anyone who has tried it, or who simply wishes to comment!
Cheers

Is it more effective when you are or aren't stoned? Does it come with a health warning?
Most importantly: can I use this to program listeners subconsciously to like my music any better?

I found another "Brainwave Entrainment" site which offers... a freeware VST that you can use in your projects for, erm... well... erm...
http://www.ultradia.org/
Notice the ominous warning:
"Although very gentle, Ultradia's brainwave entrainments will alter consciousness, which could put you in danger if not used appropriately. When you download or use any consciousness altering material from this site, we take that as your explicit agreement not to use it without first informing yourself of its proper use. Be advised that you use Ultradia at your own risk."

This is not only insane, but probably EXTREMELY BAD SCIENCE.
I get the feeling that this is COMPLETELY unscientific...and I get the vibe that its probably potentially dangerous also.
The other way around makes much more sense...using brainwaves to effect your sound or music. BT used an EKG reader on his head, and his brainwaves controlled lighting.
Not a BT fan, but a cool concept.
