I just got my BCR and I'm using the top 8 buttons for triggering tracks and the bottom 8 for stopping tracks. However as you know the buttons have 2 states, on and off. Triggering tracks only works for the on position. Is there a way to reprogram the buttons so it will trigger a track every time you push the button. I tried reading the manual but I think I got the German or Greek version.

yeah, you need to change the state of the button. It's possible.

I can't remember how to do it right now but if you go to www.behringer.com you can download a manual, and they also have a nifty java application that lets you edit the controls via your computer (much easier than doing it on the box itself)

Hope this helps!

go into edit mode for a button. (hold EDIT, press the button.)
push the encoder with "MODE" printed under it. encoder 6 on top i believe.
then turn the encoder to choose T OFF, T ON, or INC.

toggle on. - the default.
toggle off. - what u want in this case.
increment. - a BADASS feature (if BCR firmware is updated ) allowing you to send incremental messages for the CC, and the next encoder in edit mode is the increment size! i used this to make scene select buttons that step up and down by one.( also INC will be for CC only, not NOTE i believe.)

so now u see, u can have a buttonor push encoder be toggle on or off anytime.

you can have a push encoder turn your filter on when u press it, and back off when u release ( TOGGLE OFF) and, the encoder next to it, turn the filter on and it stays on, then press again and filter turns off.

in case u cant tell, im HARDCORE into my BCR and live.

hope that helps

also there is an editor called "Birdie's editor" or something, and i and my friends much prefer that to the behringer one.
u can find it on the KVR forum, i did.

but i still do it all by hand. im quick with it.
