Midi latency worry

Hi guys,
I'm planning to buy a doepfer pocketC and a Faderfox LX-1 to control Live while peforming, but since I've only got one midi-in on my sound card I'm gunna have to run one thru another then into the soundcard.
Will there be a noticable lag? I know there shouldn't be but I thought I'd better ask.
And also should one go before the other? Since the Faderfox has a Live template and the doepfer has it's own editor.
