How to sync Live 4 with Live 4 on another Mac?

I can sync (but not tempo sync!) Logic Pro 7 and the external Live 4, but I would like to use my own Live 4 as a master and the external Live 4 as a slave, but I can't get it to work...

Can someone please give some information how to sync and tempo sync both programs?

Same problem

Hi,

I've the same problem once with my mate. We'd tried to sync via MIDI my Ibook and his P4 Workstation (3 Ghz). It works fine - as my laptop was the master of this configuration - and then, when he turned the knobs and faders of his UC33, my laptop became "mad" and especially slow. We didn't find anything else to prevent this fact.
So we decided to sync our computers by... Ears ! You know - you activate your PFL on your mixer and then start your liveset as a DJ do for his records.
Seems strange, but LIVE 4 & 5 behave oddly with MIDI, on the Sync side & on Macintosh Platform.
I tried to inform anyone on this forum, but nobody cares. Maybe you can get lucky...

But then we can't change tempo!
I would like to use my Powermac G4 as the Master and then the Powerbook as the slave...

I can't find anything usefull in the manual...

Does anybody know where to find information about this midi sync?
