when i change fastly the warp parameters (in granular mode ) at hand ( not by clip automation ) on big audio file it stops playing the sample ( the D appears too )

win xp/centrinoi 1.5/512 Mo/m-audio quattro

some strange behaviour too : some file with automation on warp parameter ( always granular mode, always warp parameter + big transpose change on clip automation ) change their sound from 4 to 5 )

Hi Human Koala,
when i change fastly the warp parameters (in granular mode ) at hand ( not by clip automation ) on big audio file it stops playing the sample ( the D appears too )
Can you reproduce this in Live 5.0.1 too or does it happen only in Live 5.0.2b4?

some file with automation on warp parameter ( always granular mode, always warp parameter + big transpose change on clip automation ) change their sound from 4 to 5 )
Could you provide me with a small self contained Live 4! set that demonstrate this?

regards,
Alex

Hi, Human Koala,

what warper was set and which warp parameter did you
change when you encountered the disk overload signal ?

did it also occur with the clips in the the bugwarp&automat.als set ?

kind regards,

ingo

hi,

made some changes for 5.0.2b7 that will resolve issues for some
samples. Unfortunatly there will remain differences in samples with steep
envelopes and small grainsizes between live 4 and live 5.

kind regards,

ingo
