Clips are not stopped to their quantization

If I start a warped clip the first time, clips Q set to 1bar, loop off, GQ set to 4 bar and stopping the clip using a stop button it´s not stoping on 1 bar nor on 4 bar.
Try a bit around, it stops randomly on one or 2 bars behind where it should.

A little question:
Should it stop in relation to GQ or to ClipsQ?

Seems to be a little bug.

Hi Steve,

well, we seem to be the only two who stumble on those bugs. You were asking me what bugs I had reported that were not fixed in beta4.

well that's one of them, or seem to be part of the same bug.

before these versions, when you set a clip to gate whenever you released your trigger (note or keyboard or mouse) the clip stopped. Not anymore, even if you set your clip quantize to none, if the global Q is set to 1 bar the clip will last 1 bar. Doesn't make sense but they still haven't corrected it in new beta.

And now this behaviour you just described where the clip stops in a random place. And what place is that ? : on the fucking orange dot !

So yes I'm pissed off because it takes time to report bugs, when I do I get some self rightous people telling me not to post because Ableton might be oh offended by my posting on the bug section ... Although I posted here and sent an email, they haven't sorted it out.

Still fucking buggy guys.

Yes, I noticed this the other night while trying an old set that used some clips that I used to play across the keyboard like a standard sampler. It no longer works, the clips now no longer respond to midi note off when set to 'gate', and yes, they do seem to stop at a point where the FOD appears.

Hmmm

Hi all,
it seems a bit like when GQ is set to 8 bar and clipsQ set to 2 bar that it stops after 6 bars, but not always. (8-2=6) :?:
It depends on the playpos where you try to stop the clip.

Also should it stop to the clips Q from the point where you press the stop button, and not related to the startpos and GQ.
When you scrubstart a clip it´s started to GQ, when you trigger it in it´s slot to CQ.
But it´s always (theoretically) stopped to GQ, as we don´t have a scrubstop.

In my last set from Saturday there are clips missing in the arrangement, but only since L5.02B4.
While playing everything was fine, audio never stopped. Now in arrangement different pieces are missing.
I scrubed only a few times, and it could be that the scrubstarted clips are missing now.

Hello Abletonians,
there is another equation to solve, what can you tell us?
