Live and ER-1 = timing drift = HELP?!

Anyone use this combo? I have the ER-1 slaved to the Live clock and after about four bars things start to drift, after eight things are flamming pretty severely. It seems like Live is falling behind. I am using a TiBook 400/512 10.2.4 with an Maudio Quattro. Any thoughts on this. I tried messing with the latency but that doesn't seem to have any effect.

Use the er1 as the master. Check the bug forum - plenty of discussion about live midi clock problems there.

You better don't use the ER-1 as master because it has a very unstable midi-clock. Wel ofcause it is not forbidden to try this, but i'm not sure if the result will be what you expect.

Peace,

Actuely this unstable clock has the perpose to give the ER-1 that analoge feel, what is good, but makes it unusable as master for software.

Peace.
