as I remember well from reason Rewire is capable to route midi data in rewire stream next to tempo sync, why doesnt Live 5 still not allow to send/get data from a rewire host like logic.

i.e. I very much like to get midi data from the live arpeggiator to logic7.1 and now need to export this as midi file.

there might be some technical reasons why this is not allowed, please explain them if possible.

For me it's very annoying too but ..
I have setup the IAC bus (found in Apple's AUDIO MIDI SETUP utlity) to
enable MIDI communication from Logic to Live .
It works quite well for me :0)
For example : setup IAC bus 1 to send MIDI from Logic to Live.

Only the other way around seems impossible
