Latency

First of all, I'm not a computer wizzard.
I use Live 5 tot record some songs. I plug my guitar in the Lexicon Omega and record on a click track or a drumtrack I made with software.
I have the usual latency when monitoring my instrument during recording. I tun it off in ther monitors so that problem's solved.

But when I playback the recorded track, it doesn't seem to be in phase with the click. Or I'm the worst musician ever, or I have a latency problem during playback?

Can anyone help me out here?

You have to look in the manual, you need to adjust the in latency one time so that Live knows how much time it does compensate.

Look in the manual search for audio preferences and global latency, you have to connect the output to the input of your soundcard, play a drumsample and measure the difference, then adjust your global latency to your result.
It´s very well described, it´s input and output latency added by your result.

Then it should be fine!
