Live5 won't launch (G5+10.4)

My friend bought live5 this morning and we tried to install it on his G5 tower running 10,4 tiger+motu 828
he also had problems with motu's audiodesk (it opened, but crashed when you hitted the play-button)
we installed live, but when we tried to open it, it gave an error, and the program wouldn't open:
"Mac OS X and other applications are not affected.
Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more details or send a report to Apple."
In other words, his G5 doesn't open audiodesk or live anymore... everything crashes, gets fucked up, ...
anyone some suggestions?
