VST effect in OS X.2 ??

It seems since migrating over to OS X, all those wonderful VST plug-ins are no longer useable. Is this accurate?

Try the wonderful MDA plugins ---- they're free, and really great-sounding (for experimental purposes) plugins.
Including the wonderful RePsycho!

you need to get osx specific vst plugins i'm afraid.
