ZOOM IN / OUT

i´ve got a really big problem:
i decided to use live for my new liveact (minimal electronics-loop based). so i prepared each one bar loops that i only have to set the markers ... now the problem
when i want to see the complete act on screen i have to zoom out totally.
when i want to set the markers i need to zoom in. BUT: ZOOMIMG IN NEEDS SO MUCH TIME THAT I WOULD BE ABLE TO READ A BOOK !
THIS is THE DEAD OF A LIVEACT ! what do you think about it ?

one thing that might help is estting the sample rate down to 33075 under preferences -> audio.

(the loss in audio quality will likely not be audible in a live setting.)
