Rendering Issues

Every time I render a track in Ableton a few problems occure.

1) After rendering you can no longer get sound out of Ableton. You must re-open the file in order to get sound again.

2) The rendered file will either be completely silent or go completely silent after an indefinite amount of time. Again the problem can only be solved by re-opening the file.

3) In some rare instances, the actual music file is slightly altered.

Is anyone else having this problem? I never had it with 4. I'm having to render my files three times just to get it to work, which on a semi large file takes a lot of time.

Any updates coming?

FYI:

I'm running PC with Windows XP Professional.

I use Ableton in conjunction with Reason 3.0.

I use some plug ins, but mostly stock Ableton effects/processors.

ahh, another one! Try loading all your clips into RAM, that is how some of us are able to render without that silence issue...

Problem is I can't load everything into RAM. Most of my sound is midi controlled and comes from Reason. I just program the midi. I only have one track with random wav/sound files.
