When I put a delay or any effect on the master strip, it seems to drop the master level by about 6 db. When you play with the fx balance you notice a drop as you creep up the ballance from 0 to 100%.
My intention was to engage fx while my set was running to have things echo or flange etc. like you would on a DJ mixer.

Hi intellijel,
as soon as you have set the feedback to a value higher than 0% you will get a higher level because the signal from the feedback loop is simply added to the delayed output of the Delay effect.

hi Alex,
Actually I have the opposite probelm. No matter how I play with the settings high feedback, low feedback, wet/dry ballance) the overall signal is LOWER in volume (not louder).
cheers,
Danjel

OK, I understand.
With no feedback and dry/wet at 0% or 100% the level should be the same.
Because some dry/wet curves are linear the resulting level can be different, that is right.
