Please help!

I'm running Live 5 and Reason 2.5, and also have an M-Audio Midisport 8x8. Can't synch the two programs! When I go to select "Reason" from the Midi tracks Output type chooser, it ISN'T listed there as an option (which all manuals, tutorials, etc say it will be). My Midisports various ports are all that's listed and I don't know where to go from there! Its just got me at a dead end!

Any suggestions very gratefully received, people- cheers!

use rewire to sync live and reason!
start live before reason!

Thanks, but I know you use Rewire and I know to start Live first! I've followed what is said in the manual, tutorials... as I said, the problem is that, contrary to what I should get, Reason DOESN'T appear on the Midi tracks Output type chooser!
