Hi!

I bought a Alesis Photon X25 last week and now i am playing with the live demo.

Is it possible to use the 360 degrees rotary controllers without "parameter jumps" in Live? When i assign it to the volume fader in live, then turn the the controller knob every thing works fine. But when i tweak the volume fader with the mouse and use the rotary controller after that it jumps to the old value.

Hi.

I own an Alesis Photon X25 too and have the same problem. And I think it is because the rotary encoders only send absolute midi values. As far as I know there is not possible to set the controls to send relative values. I have sent a mail to Alesis asking if they could update the firmware to also include relative values, but I have not got an answer. Maybe if more people ask for this feature they will include it in a future driver/firmware update.
So why don't try to mail them...

Take care

Try setting the Live preferences to SEND MIDI to the Photon (in the MIDI tab). That should work... me thinks

did you guys get anywhere with this in the end? Would be incredibly useful if it can be achieved!...

If not, anyone else got any fresh ideas? Clicking Remote or Sync in the MIDI options for the X25 (as per Kabukis idea) doesnt seem to do the trick...
