Hello, I always get an error message when it tries to delete ununsed files on closing. It says something like 'cannot delete files becasue they are being used by another process/application.' This has happened on two different set already. Is this a Live issue or a Windows issue (I have a feeling it is a Windows thing)?
P4 1.6

40gig ext. HD
Windows XP
Live 5.01

Hi roby,
it can be both. The delete function fails because somebody is still accessing the file. So it can be a bug of Live but also a problem with Windows.
In the beta of Live 5.0.2 we use a different delete function to get rid of such problem. If you can reproduce this problem with Live 5.0.1 you could try if it is fixed with the beta or not.

Hi, just tested this issue with the latest beta and the problem persists.
"Cannot delete (filename): Cannot find the specified path.
Make sure you specify the correct path"
I tried renaming the main library folder but didnt help.
thanks

Still getting the same problems on my system.
Unable to delete Undo.cfg
Unable to delete cache content
Undo.cfg happens frequently when I load live sets or Close live sets.
Cache Content mostly when quitting Live but not very frequent.

So this refers to the latest Live beta, 5.0.2b8?

Hello, about the wav files not being deleted on closing, the funny thing is that I can delete the files from windows explorer with no problem while Live is running. I Live is still not being able to delete the files on closing; I'm running the new release 5.02 now.
