Ableton Forum

I feel like the biggest idiot. I have just started using a mic with Ableton for the first time and for obvious reasons...it's recording as a mono file....but Ableton's tracks are stereo? I know it's going to be a simple answer, so please be gentle on making fun of me on how obvious this is How can I get a track to record in mono?
