Ableton Forum

I am new to creating music with a MIDI (M-Audio Ozone) workstation and am having a hard time getting started. Is there a good start from square one instructional book out there?

For example, I can't get the Ableton Live Lite 4 to even recognize the Ozone! Any suggestions?

it should have come with a CD that has the drivers & a control interface. those two elements are a must.
if u dont have those i would go to M Audio's website & see if you can download them.

once you have the drivers installed plug in the keyboard, turn it on, start the midi interface program & Live - then go to your MIDI preferences & click 'ReScan'. it should refresh w/ the keyboard as one of the inputs. to record midi signal onto a channel you must have the record button on for that channel.
