I have not gotten any response on the Reaktor User Forum so lets see if ableton/reaktor users can help out.

Welcome to the official reaktor 5 performance test. Here is what you do to add your information to the pool that will be eventually graphed.

1. Download the test ensemble at http://mars.walagata.com/w/reason3patch ... e_Test.ens

2. Open the ensemble in reaktor (APPLICATION NOT PLUGIN), then make sure your latency is at 10ms.

3. Post your results on this forum in this format.

1) Reaktor CPU Meter % (if it bounces around, please list the peak)
2) Laptop/Desktop? Make/Model
3) Operating System
4) CPU Make Model and Speed
5) Amount of Ram / Speed of Ram (if you know)
6) Soundcard (Stock or add on?, usb/firewire/pci ?)
7) Hard Disk Drive Speed (if you know)

Thank you!

I don't really understand the point of posting it here, though :?

dumb question here, but is it supposed to be on 8 voices? Because my ibm is getting ridiculously bad performance - 40% on asio4all @ 8 voices, 35% on my fw410

perf-26,~%
asio4all set to 448 samples, 10 ms
audigy 2/win xp pro sp2
amd athlon xp 3000+
2.16 ghz, 512mb ram

but can anybody tell me which is processor speed the 3000+ or 2.16 ?

Hey AdamJay,

What happens when you open Spacedrone on your machine? We have a single processor G5 powermac with a gig of ram running 10.3.8 here and if I try to run Spacedrone in standalone mode it crashes in about 3 seconds.

im not aj but thats weird, it runs fine on my pb. the only ensemble i seem to have trouble with is oldschool, constant cpu glitches but the % is low. makes the sound intermittent.

have you trashed reaktors prefs? or maybe re-install the ensemble from the disc.

i gave him an answer over at the NI Reaktor forum AND asked if it's supposed to be at 44.1 kHz and someone else asked about the 8 voices thing...
you need to respond a bit quicker, dude, if you're going to set some 'scientific' test in motion.
