Audio & MIDI on the same channel strip

I like to arrange all sequence tracks together, and all audio tracks together (for better ease when sequencing) i.e. I group all the tracks that have clips on them, and put all audio tracks at the bottom (which bring signals back in from external gear/VSTIs etc).
What would be really nice, and allow us all to spend less time hunting up & down the track list, is if both the MIDI & audio elements for each sound were on the same channel strip. Perhaps a 'Flip Channel' function on each strip would work, where one side shows the MIDI parts and the other side the audio channel. This might cause problems from a software programming point of view, but perhaps it would be worked around by having each set of flipped controls on a different MIDI channel.
Bit of a wierd though, just thought of it, so would love to know what you think?
