Ahh to be a Live Newbie again.

I just ran into a friend who I have been making music with off and on for a bit. He had shown an interest in Live after he saw all that I was doing with it. I told him I'd show him the ropes (or at least what I know) and that he should get the demo to see if it was what he really wanted.
When I walked into the club last night he spotted me and sprinted over. Talking to him was like listening to a child who got their favorite toy for their birthday except drunk. He said that he had been using it non stop for 2 weeks now and even though he could not save he would still spend hours on one set. He was a music major and has used all the other audio apps out there but he said this was breakthrough for him.
Hearing him rant about what he was discovering put my mind back in that place and I totally knew where he was coming from. It's amazing how some 1s and 0s could make someone feel though I do know that it is more the opening of our own internal possibilities that we are really reacting to.
He's selling some gear and is going to buy it very soon.
Oh and he's buying Operator too. Damn him.
Once again good job Abe's
