I'm getting this quite a lot .... sometimes when dragging clips from the browser on a deactivated clip I get a runtime error, and sometimes when dragging a clip in arrangement onto a deactiviated clip I get a 'serious program error'

audio clips or midi clips? is it possible you can trace the problem to a specific plug?

I had similar problems when trying to load some expired demo plugs in live clips.

This is with audio files / clips, not from the LIbrary - just audio.
