USB Live-In Recording Problem

I am recording live-in on the program via an iMic and a Sennheiser M41 microphone, and the meter will pick up fine on the left channel, but just barely on the right channel. The pan is in the middle. Any ideas??? OSX, TiBook, 667mghtz, 768 megs ram, USB in.
Same exact problem

I also am using an iMic with Live and am having the same exact problem, though not using microphones, just line in instruments through the mixer. (mac G4QS)

recording stereo vs mono

If you are recording a mono singal into Live (which really seems to be set up for stereo recording), then only the left side meter will light up to display the input signal. Does the audio file play back "in the middle", or does it act onlt play back on the left side? Seems to me I've recorded some mono tracks with the same metering thing happening and the tracks played back fine, could be panned, etc.

The left meter bounces, and so does the right, but the right is just barely moving. I think it's a USB problem. How do you set the record to mono, because that would probably help.

So you're getting a stereo audio file that's quiet on one side? There's no way (yet) to set recording mode to mono.
Mine is working now

Both meters are now registering, why i have no idea, i have not conciously tried to fix the problem. Glad it works now and hope it will continue.
