Problem with assigned keys for Crossfader

Hi,
I am getting a repeated (bug ?) issue with the key assign for my crossfader.
I have assigned the keys 'Q' 'W' and 'E' to the left middle and right
crossfader positions.
Sometimes if I'm flicking back from one to the other the crossfader will not stay in the centre position (it goes to centre but then when I release the 'W' key it goes back to the right or left (whatever side it was).
This occurs erratically and for no given reason.
It is making it impossible to trust and has the potential to make me look very silly in my DJ set where I use it quite a bit during tracks.
I have the Faderfox controller and the cross fader is pretty stiff so I can't easily flick back and fore without the keys.
Has this happened to anyone else (maybe with other key bindings) ?
Cheers
