Cubase with ableton?

I am activating ableton via rewire and all my synths disappear and are unable to found from the track im trying to use, what can i do to fix this?
When Ableton Live is running as a ReWire slave it's not possible to host VST plugins in Live (unfortunately). This is documented in Live's manual.
