Hallo!

With all respect! It's time to wake up Ableton! I am an Registred Live 5 User, and I have paid for the program, but it seems that Ableton doesen't care a Shit about it's customers! A lot of bugs all the time! Live 5.0.2 cant even render my tracks anymore! without cutting the first bars every time I try to render? This is shit! Are you amateurs or what! I paid for the program and I want what I paid for: A RUNNIG APPLICATION! Otherwise I will sue Ableton and get my money back! Shame on you! Or are you guys just making a good living for the money that the "customers" put in your company? I am so disapointet about Ableton....I got to make a living producing music! and I don't got the time to fight with an amateure application anymore! WAKE UP ABLETON!!!!!

Regards

dude, without some calm description of your system and problems it is hard for them to even address your issue--what type of computer, are you using lots of vst plugs--which ones? have you tried setting up a track and setting the "master out" as the input and just recording the output in real time? That should work--if you playback normally, the master in should record what you hear. Are you making sure to highlight the portion of the arrangerview you wish to render to disk? Have you RTM? Have you gotten laid recently? Yelling and threatening doesn't seem to be a very efficient means of bug fixing, whereas specific are. For example, running Live 5 on windows 95 with 64 MB of RAM won't work so well...give peace a chance.

Hi Quandry!

Thanks for the reply! I know what you are saying. But it doesen't help me to be Mr niceguy anymore, I am a customer and I paid for a application, and I want what I paid for! Look at the commercial on this site for Live 5, it's proudly promising any Live 5 owner a lot of features but actually they don't really work like they should! Is that right? I dont think so! And I am not working for Ableton, why should I send Bug Fix reports all the time to Ableton? Did I paid 500.- Euro to be a Bugreporter for Ableton? I don't think so! They should test the program in Berlin before they release it, they earn the money not me, and that's a fact! And they dont even report when we can get the next update to fix our problems, that's not fair!

Cheers!

it's simple, if you don't send bug reports to ableton you don't get any bug fixes. so quit bitchin and send your bug reports.

Hehe.. I know what you mean, seem to be no-happy at all. So I would suggest you buy bigger companies software, those who don't ask people tosend bug reports, and even don't give a f***k if you send one. I'll try to post a PT screenshot later today if I've got time. And you'll tell me if with a version6 of a 15 years old program created by a monster company, and costing something with 4 zeros, you would accept it.
Or that other company starting with a S and finishing with a G... Ever tried to gget in touch with them ?

I agree Live5 seems to be of some problem for quite a bunch of people., but not all (here working like a charm). But keep faith my man, keep faith ! Your problems will vanish very fast ! hehe. They are a small company.

BTW, have you tried to resample your track to a new audio track instead of rendering ? Even if the render works here, I prefer that method as I get "what I hear". And it's been seen as a work around when render is a problem.

Kind regards,
amo

if they will test their releases on some machines then there won´t be so much bugs !!!

e.g the midi implementation sucks !
