Need assistance: ONE button push prelistening

I need to tune samples on the fly during a live performance using Live 4. I need to push 1 button once and route to headphone so I can transpose up or down the sample to fit the music (correct pitch) and then 1 button push sends it back to the house sound...all the while other trax are running with there house sound output uninterrupted.
I see in Live how 2 button pushes would do it...just cant figure out if this is possible.
Thanks,
TK

are you using a midi controller? if so you can reroute the controller input using midiyoke/controlaid(?) to separate midi channels in live using midi tracks and have the one button doing two things at once. have you controller set to track input in preferences, then route it through two midi tracks in live to (for example) midiyoke 1, which you have enabled in preferences for remote input only. the crucial thing is to have each track outputting to a different midi channel. then mut each track in turn and assign the button to with track one being assigned to preview (say) and track two being assigned to track mute. unmute both of the midi tracks and when you press that midi button both things will happen at once.
you could also use the one button for this purpose on all of your audio tracks using a pitch shift plugin with a knob asigned to it, with each step up being assigned to the next track etc...
hope this makes sense to you, it's a bit tricky to get yer head round at first, but it definitely works
