2 Questions about Midi Mapping.

Hi guys,

Been spending quite alot of time with Live 5 lately, reading/watching the tutorials and decided to try and create a 'channel strip' type plug that I could drag and drop into each of my audio channels ala the Covert 'Live Clips' tutorial.

First question is: Is there anyway to save my midi-maps of the effects (phase/utility, gate, compressor, EQ) and have these recalled everytime I load the channel strip to a new track? You know, everytime I load the effects chain on a new track I can automatically start tweaking away without going through the whole hoohaw of mapping each controller again?

Second question: Can ANYBODY (hambone1?) tell me how to map (in very specific steps) the MMC commands to start, stop and record on an OZONIC? I'm about to pull my hair out. Seriously. And as far as Enigma? Maybe I'm doing something wrong but it just ain't working...

Cheers,

R.

i'm sorry to say that as of now you cannot save the midi mapping in divice chains or live clips.

if you can get your head around MMC emulation then you will get some of the results you wan't

i personally know nothing of the ozonic nor enigma, but i think there are some people on here who can help you

but this thread below should be a good starting point

sounds like you have some reading and catching up to do, but you will see that midi isn't to much of a beast to tame
