Arm state transmitted to Remote Controller?

I've programmed my BCR2000 to control multiple ARM states in Live. Specifically, one button press will ARM a Live track and light the BCR2000 button's LED. Then, a subsequent button press will DISARM that Live track a turn off the BCR2000 button's LED.
Easy... but here's the problem:
When you load a Live song, it does not seem to *transmit* the status of the ARM button to the remote controller (BCR2000). It transmits volume levels and such, but not the state of the ARM button.
Result: The ARM indicator LED's on the remote control get out-of-sync with Live because Live is not able to update the ARM state on a remote.
Has anyone else experienced this? And, more importantly, has anyone found a good work-around? Thanks.
