Hi
I've just bought a bcf2000 controller & I'm wondering what mode is best for use with Live?
I've read that mackie emulation mode is the way forward, can anyone gimme any tips etc?
Cheers

Mackie Control mode (accessed by holding the second button while powering up...latest firmware of course) is great if you wanna control the faders only...ie. basic mixing and volume/pan automation...
if you wanna use it for live sets just use the default mode and program it the way you want (this is how I use the BCF with Live)...

i use the nuendo/cubase mode when using the controller (mode 2) as a fader in the standard way. it works with the automated faders etc. very nice.
generally, when DJ'ing in use the regular mode (mode 1) because i can map anything and everything to a midi control. very handy as well.

Someone on here has even made an overlay that u print out & cut out & place on the scribble strips on your bcf. Brilliant!
I would imagine it's only a matter of time until Behringer include an Ableton mode on the unit.
