i just started using live for djing, and i have now made a mixtape in live and posted it here:
http://440.gyrewire.com/ptvn_mix_nov05.mp3
a lot of whats in this mix is local stuff from here in boston. this is part of a blog i post to with remixes and mashups and stuff that we make, the ones i have posted have all been made with live, and the other guys' stuff is DP/fruityloop/ableton made. here:

2 more things: this mix is not house or drum and bass or anything like that, is is rock and electo songs, mostly made by local electronic live acts. all vocal music.
i want feedback, any suggestions, complaints, questions, comments are welcome. thanks.

Hi Georgio, it´s cool stuff, I like the tune that starts with the Britney melodie.
Whats your setup in Live, the sound could have a bit of limiting on the master.
There was a lot of delay and beatrepeat in some tracks, did you use the repeat button to catch a loop and delay it?

Greetings

i think thats uv protection, one band in a colaborative i belong to http://www.compound440r.com

i did use beat repeat, but for the looping type stuff i have a aux track with a delay setup, and will send something to that delay for however many bars the delay is set to, and then set the repeats to infinite, or near infinite.

about the limiting stuff, would you use that to bring everything closer in volume? a lot of times when i play live, i let ableton clip on the master fader, it doesn't sound bad at all, and it limits everything kinda nicely. i didn't let that happen on this mix though
