Using an old Yamaha PSR-GX76 from about 2002-2003 that has GM, velocity keys, pitch bender and sustain pedal. Seems like a great MIDI keyboard but I cannot get Live to work at all. I can't even get simple things like MIDI-OX to work.
Symptom: I will hit one note, I will hear it, and even if I keep hitting keys, there will not be another sound until about 2-3 seconds later. As soon as I hit the key, the D (HD Overload) light goes on/off quickly.
Using USB M-Audio Uno.
I've tried it on a Sony Vaio laptop P4-1.8GHz with 512MB RAM USB 1 using ASIO4A and the WDM driver for the AC97 (maybe this is the probl?). As well as an Athlon 3200XP, 1G RAM with a 10k-SATA drive and USB 2.0 using the Nvidia ASIO for the nForce 3 chipset.
I need help configuring the clock settings. I have tried every combination I can think of. Setting Live to external clock, I can see the clock ticks coming in fine.
It plays wonderfully from the PC to the Keyboard. But Keyboard to the PC I get the lost notes syndrome.
Anyone have info on this or can help please? Thanks.
