Typing in new Arrangement position in session view

If I put an eight minute track into a clipslot in session view, open clip view and type in a bar number in the transport bar and retrigger or hit the space bar after triggering - it restarts at quite random places e.g I type 170 and it starts at 130, type in 170 again, hit return then space bar and it starts at 145.
Anyone else know what I am doing wrong or is this a bug?
