how to use mutliple MIDI controllers in Live.. or can't?!

I have three different MIDI devices going in through 3 different inputs, and they all work seperately in Logic but in Live they all act like one keyboard - i.e. i cant control two different things with the same MIDI key on different MIDI controllers!
i.e. C3 on one controller is the exact same as the other two - basically rendering the benefit of having additional controllers to be useless in Live!
Can I fix this? Please help!
i.e. i want the keyboard of one controller to trigger things and the other keyboard controller to trigger other things...
OSX 10.3.9
Live 5.0.2
Alesis Photon X25 > MIDI through USB
GEM Equinox61 > MIDI through MIDISport
Access Virus > MOTU MIDI input
