You rock! Thanks for the brilliant discovery.
Am reprogramming my FCB using mackie control - I initially used the pedal layout setup in your post - but now of course I need to customize it for the project I am starting.
So my question> is there a complete list of midi note assignments for Live using mackie emulation?

Cheers
Chris
You might find this table helpful, though it was made before kugutsumen kindly posted that decompiled code linked above. Maybe one of us can take kugutsumen's discovery and update this table:

http://www.mooncaine.net/live_6_mackie_ ... cb1010.htm

Since I'm no python coder, I find this table easier to read. Hope it helps.

78 G#4 Open/close track view

This one actually sits on the F#4, I figure=)

And thank you soooo very much for this know-how!

Glad to help. I'm just spreading the info that I learned from other great folks here.

I don't think I understand what you mean about the G# in row 78 of that table. When I hit that link, I see an F# there, not a G#.

Is the table wrong? I'm confused. I'll fix it if it's wrong.

that one was to Machinate, sorry!
didn't read the whole thread..
so just discovered your table 8O
f# is where it should be, and it looks like you've got some extremely useful add-on!
so i'm off to check if the notes 43-47 (Plugins, Prev/Next Page, Bank Up/Down) do allow for the mouseless access to plugins!

I''m setting up my PK to work as a Mackie and most of it is working splendid :)

But I can't get the "Arm" buttons to work... :(

I'm sending a C-1 note (note no. 0 on the PK) on midi channel 1 with a fixed velocity at 127. As I understand it, it should arm track 1 for recording, but it doesn't..!? What could be wrong?

Anybody?

Every other function works, but not the arm/solo/mute functions.... Is there something special about those which is different than the other functions?

you know. after ive spent like 3 weeks playing around with my MK2 and bomes midi translator, i finally understand this post.

which in turn also makes about 80% of my bomes preset completely unneccessary. but what the hell..

hey, thanks for the bump, there... old thread indeed.

I have no trouble using mackie control emulation in Live 7, no. Try going over what you've done to make it work up to now, step by step.

DEVICES,
For instance, one of the most interesting thing i think is the
combination between the Devices button, the prev /next page buttons,
and the V-pot buttons (I know they are not only bottons... but if you
have a group of buttons and a group of rotary encoders i think you can try
to "clone" them).
quoting the Live Manual: "Device - Pressed once, this will bring up all
available devices for the currently selected track in the main display.
Using the page buttons, you can then scroll through
the available devices and choose a particular device to edit by pressing
the V-Pot..."
But Device Button (G2) as well as Prev/Next page buttons don't work
Am i continuing to miss something?
Yes, I can't get the Devices working either... would be perfect for mouse free control. Anyone got this feature working?
