NTFS Or Fat 32 and Which Is Better

Also How do I change my xp pro to fat 32? and can I do it after i've installed programs on it or do I have to do it before I install live

Dont know why.. tried both, but i prefer FAT32.. for some reason when i had NTFS instaled on my drive, it would not let me download the important xp updates... and yes you do have to do it before you load your programs, it requires a reformat of your drive
