I think it would be great if Ableton added BPM push and pull buttons like you would find on many DJ CD players. I know if you click on Lives bpm you can adjust up and down with the up and down arrow keys, Ableton can use the left and right arrow keys for the push and pull BPM feature. This would be very usefull for beat matching live to a pair dj turntables.

Yes, push and pull buttons much needed.

basically imho, they would need to simply increase/decrease temp by about 5% whilst held down.The tempo returns to prior when released.
Midi-able too. I have used other software which works this way, and it makes it MUCH easier to 'manually' sync to a live drummer, or machine.

Glad to see other ppl already asking for what I want aswell. This would make Ableton Live actually useable in a standard DJ setup. Two decks and a laptop??? why not?

u could sync ur laptop to the music then record thru the FX send of DJ mixer and drop over the top. grab bits and pieces here and there, and do live remixing!!

U really need midi assignable push and pull buttons, and pitch slider. How about using ur keyboards PITCHBEND control for the push and pull!! that way u can push a little or a lot.
