I am having HUGE problems using Live 5 and Tiger (macOSX 10.4) .
even after upgrading drivers and firmware, my Traveler has not been happy with this combo.. or any other version on Live now. just a strange sinewave output, if at all.

this problem did not emerge until i used the Traveler with Ableton Live 5.01 and Tiger (10.4) Mac OSX. So, i have installed all the new drivers for the Traveler, and i updated the firmware to 1.0.5, from 1.0.4

Still, nothing has changed. The traveler does not even work with Ableton Live 4, or 5, and i can't even playback clips from my Live set when the Traveler is selected as my audio output. Live 4 and 5 works fine with every other interface i have.

So strange since this unit has not even left my studio, nothing was dropped, broken, or anything. I just tried the interface with Tiger and Live 5. Ever since i tried that i can't even get it working with Live 4 and OSX 10.3.9 (not tiger) on my laptop.

thanks ! any feedback helps.

very strange behavior.. seems to work fine on 10.3.9. now. (whew!) did nothing but restarted a few more times.

no sine waves on Live 5 and 10.4 yet, and retarting everytime i switch interface between latop and desktop seems to make a difference, (not just powering down Traveler and switching firewire cables).
very odd. i'll post any more problems that i find..

there seems to be strange problems with a few bus-powered devices. As a rule of thumb, even though most of these interfaces are hot swappable, you should always power down ( interface and computer ) before plug/unplugging it.
