Hi peeps, how's it going?

I was wondering if anybody knows of any overlays in existance for the bcf2000's? I know I could just label stuff with Brother labelling systems, etc... but I'm really after something similar to uc33e overlays.

You need knife or scissors, sticky tape, glue or double sided photo sticky pads.

Thanks, yeah I saw your lovely labelled templates a while ago, and while handy for the emulation modes, I was kind of after a blank sort of "layer" (like the uc33e ones) that I can just place on the unit depending on what application I'm using.

I guess there aren't any so I'll have to find some materials!

In the PDF that comes with the BCF there are things you can cut out is that any good?

For my BCR I got a 3'x4' sheet of clear plastic at an art supply store for $5, the stuff's out there, just keep looking.

I'm pretty daft to not look there, the pdf was sittin on the hard drive too along with the emulation documents, etc... and it's the only one I hadn't been through

Quick question... would it be better to print on glossy paper (i'll be printing this out on a colour laser jet), then laminate it, following that, using a stanley knife to cut out the fader/button strips?

or would I be better off printing onto an overhead? (are they bitches to cut with stanley knives?)

Man I have NO IDEA! I printed mine onstrips of paper and put sticky tape on top, photo stickies underneath. Overhead sounds good, but it wil stay transparent no?
Hey I dig your overlays, looking good!

I might avoid printing on glossy and make sure the lamination is not too shiny. It's no fun trying to look at your template when lighting is reflecting off of the plastic so you can't read it.

I used glossy paper to print Synchro's one and sticked some tape on it.
Works fine, looks great.



@blastique: Cool one for my x-session. I'm just to lazy to create my own
