Hi,

can anybody help me out with saving single tracks?
we are with 2, working on the same song in live.
when the other sends me his set, I want to copy tracks from his set to import them into mine.
I haven't figured this out! I can't find it in the manual..
is this even possible?

it would be great if I can copy a whole track, with arrangement and everything, but it will be a great help for me if I find out how to copy a loop (audio file and every settings with the file)

grtz, peter

you're on version 2?
I think the only way would be to render it as audio & import it in to your song.

no, it is version 5.
I know this should be possible, but I just cannot find it.
now I am saving all the loopsamples, so the samples open next time with the same settings, and I'm saving all the device settings...
then I have to open the samples in the other set and go search for all the devices.

Save the loops as clips. We have a tutorial on how to use clips on our website, it's a very good read if I may say so myself :D

that was not really what I ment...

I want to save the tracks in the arrangement mode.
so let's say you have a track in a song wich containes several pieces of looping. for instances the same audio sample, but with loop starting at a different starting point.

then I want to save this track (of different pieces) as a whole. so I can excgange tracks from different evolutions off a song
