Beat matching problem in 2.01

Ello, I was playing on V2.01 and found that 'single-shot' bassdrums no longer stretch to the 4/4 beat correctly - instead they loop independently of the tempo.

This was after being really impressed with the 1.5 demo, where they did map correctly.

Do I have to go through my entire sample library and edit the warp markers, or it it something that's fixed in V2.03? Or have I just missed som simple setting?

I definitely want to but live, but need to know this first.

Thanks for any advice you can give.

live 2 defaults some clips to an unwarped state. load up your kick sound and make sure that the 'warp' and 'loop' buttons that are on the far left side of the clip parameter veiw are selected. this should take care of your problem.

Thanks for the response, but unfortunately I tried that - it seems like the warp markers tend to default to covering about 75% of the sample (but clip the end off). I have to manually drag the markers longer to cover the whole sample.

When I hit play, the sample loops out of time and doesn't seem to wait for the next beat before it triggers again.

Could it be because I'm using my pc's wav library on a mac?

sorry man, i'm out of ideas. i don't see a reason why your library would play back any differently on a mac, but i could be wrong.
