Plz help!!!! Dropout problems during DJing
Posted: Sun Jan 01, 2006 7:11 am
During my last gigs i had the problem that
i got dropouts when i
- trigger new clips
- use my Evolution controller (not even extensively)
These problems occured after a hour of playing,
then i can do nothing but play from a CD-J.
That's a big problem for me. I am sincerly thinkin about playing
with CD-Js in the future. But that would be very disappointing.
My setup is:
Live 5.02 (i will try the 5.03)
Powerbook 15inch 1.5.GHz, I GB Ram, 5200RPM 80GB Harddisk
Mac OS 10.3.9
I keep my Powerbook well organized and i don't install unnecessary Applications.
I have more than 7GB free Space on the main Partition.
My Mac is always up to date. It's not long ago that i formated my
Main Harddisk.
Could that problem be solved with Tiger?
Or is the Powerbook to slow?
Or is 5.03 the solution?
Please help me!
